A producer, a good producer, is the person who oversees the band or artist during the creation of their record. They’ll have good ideas on what direction to take the album, how things could be improved, etc. therefore, when I am in the room I am present from and for all aspects of the creation process. I’ve worked with many artist whose talent scaled more or less. Either way I always look for the final product that makes the artist and my self satisfied with the project. What makes me stand out from other producers is I am willing to go above and beyond for the artist in a way we can connect to where we are one in each others world. You give me a drawing with no color and I will paint you a masterpiece, isn’t that how the saying goes?
